"December Morning" was inspired by the clear, sparkling light of a December morning in Sandwich, New Hampshire, after one of the first snowfalls of the season. I was intrigued by the variations of blue in the scene, and by the reflected light on the shadow side of the barn. Oil on canvas; artwork size is 20" x 20".
