I've always been intrigued by the "in-between" seasons, early spring and late fall. The muted colors and soft light at these times of year make it feel as though nature pauses before the next season begins. With "The Edge of Winter," I tried to describe the feeling that it won't be long before the first snowfall. Oil on board; artwork size is 12" x 16".
